Founder & CEO

Erin Brandson

Erin is the Owner and Head Brewer at Little Beasts Brewing in Whitby ON. Erin started brewing professionally in 2014, and founded Little Beasts in 2017. A community based safe space and family friendly brewery that specializes in Belgian Beers, mixed fermentations and lagers. With the occasional hoppy beer thrown in to keep the masses happy. Erin is also passionate about Diversity, inclusion and advocacy work. She began her advocacy work volunteering with PFLAG Durham Region for a number of years before she moved into advocating within the beer industry. In 2022 she continued the work that Brienne Allen (@ratmagnet) started with the US and shared stories through her IG account @esbroadfoot in an attempt to wake up the Canadian Beer Industry to the reality of how the beer and beverage industry truly treats the marginalized communities employed within. She has since founded TCBSN, has begun working with the Durham Region Rape Crisis Center and isn’t about to stop screaming anytime soon.

Our Volunteers

TCBSN is fortunate to already have a number of amazing lead volunteers
who immediately stepped up, asked how they could help and offered their skills.
  • Ernesto O Rosa

    Advocate, Fundraiser & Supporter

Ernesto has stood by us from day one. He demands accountability, speaks openly about his experiences and expects more, every day. When we first established he ran a giant fundraising campaign that allowed us to finally kick off the website.

  • Sandi Falconer

    Artist

All of our art and logos were done by the very talented Sandi Falconer who went above and beyond to provide us with so much to work with.

  • Meag Durkin

    Paperwork and other details

Meag is a long standing member of the beer community who has left the beer industry to pursue new goals. She is well known for her advocacy work in her home town of Kincardine. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind, make a few waves and stand up for what she believes in. We are grateful to have her helping us as we begin to move forward.

  • Iz Netto

    Grants and Research

Iz is an amazing human who worked in the beer industry for a number of years before moving onto a different sector. A fierce advocate and an absolute force to be reckoned with. She immediately reached out and asked what she could do and we are fortunate to have her helping us find and secure the grants we need to move forward.

  • Lindsey Mrav

    Marketing

Lindsey and her husband Joe are the owners and founders of Grain & Grit in Hamilton ON. A brewery well known for their ethics and advocacy work. Lindsey is a wonderful human who’s always looking to do more for those around her. She’s helping us sort out our marketing presence as we get the ball rolling.
